In 1981, Dr. Gerald R. Conover joined the Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine, now the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine (KPCOM). He became a cornerstone of the institution, serving as chair of the Department of Anatomy and establishing a full-dissection anatomy lab, where he passionately guided students through the human body.
Dr. Conover passed away on March 1, 2024. To honor his contributions, KPCOM held a plaque dedication ceremony on September 11, 2024. In tribute to his legacy, his wife, Dr. Lynnette Sieracki, established the Dr. Gerald Conover and Dr. Lynette Sieracki Scholarship Fund to support KPCOM students.
Dr. Conover’s impact will resonate for generations, inspiring physicians and health professionals dedicated to healing and saving lives across the globe.
