Center for Applied Humanities

The NSU Halmos College of Arts and Sciences Center for the Applied Humanities helps students make the connection between history, philosophy, and literature and present-day issues and challenges. Recipients of the Insight Think Tank fellowship assist local businesses and community groups to solve problems by drawing on knowledge from the humanities.

All gifts to the DHP Student Scholar Fund directly help our students be able to travel for both academic conferences where they present their research, and to cities around the world as part of study-travel courses. These gifts make it possible for our students to open up connections around the globe."
